Reliability Analysis of Replicated And -

چکیده
{ A computation task running in distributed systems can be represented as a directed graph H(V; E) whose vertices and edges may fail with known probabilities. In this paper, we introduce a reliability measure, called distributed task reliability, to model the reliability of such computation tasks. The distributed task reliability is deened to be the probability that the task can be successfully executed. Due to the And-Fork/And-Join constraint, the traditional network reliability problem is a special case of the distributed task reliability problem, where the former is known to be NP-hard in general graphs. For two-terminal And-Or Series-Parallel (AOSP) graphs, the distributed task reliability can be computed in polynomial time.

A Systematic Review of Statistical Methods Used to Test for Reliability of Medical Instruments Measuring Continuous Variables
Objective(s): Reliability measures precision or the extent to which test results can be replicated. This is the first ever systematic review to identify statistical methods used to measure reliability of equipment measuring continuous variables. This studyalso aims to highlight the inappropriate statistical method used in the reliability analysis and its implication in the medical practice. ...

Abstract The current investigation was aimed toward standardization of learning environment perceptions survey (PES-HS). Method: Four-hundred students (204 female and 196 male) were selected through multi-stage stratified sampling method. Students completed the Farsi version of PES-HS. The exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis and internal consistency were used to compu...

متن کاملPsychometric Properties of Multiple Intelligence Developmental Assessment Scales (MIDAS) for Adults in the Iranian Context
This study reports psychometric properties and derivation of norms for a Persian version of the Multiple Intelligence Developmental Assessment Scales (MIDAS) for Adults. After examining and confirming equivalency between English and Persian versions, translated and validated by Saeidi, Ostovar, Shearer, and Asghari Jafarabadi (2015), the scale was administered to a sample (N = 2146), including ...
متن کاملMeasuring Patient Safety Culture in Iran Using the Hospital Survey on Patient Safety Culture (HSOPS): an Exploration of Survey Reliability and Validity
Background and Objectives: Patient Safety Culture is increasingly recognized as an essential driver of patient safety. To establish patient safety culture, firstly the current status of the construct should be assessed. Valid assessment of patient safety culture is contingent on the availability of appropriate measurement tools. Hospital Survey on Patient Safety Culture (HSOPS) developed by th...
متن کاملTESTING FOR AUTOCORRELATION IN UNEQUALLY REPLICATED FUNCTIONAL MEASUREMENT ERROR MODELS
In the ordinary linear models, regressing the residuals against lagged values has been suggested as an approach to test the hypothesis of zero autocorrelation among residuals. In this paper we extend these results to the both equally and unequally replicated functionally measurement error models. We consider the equally and unequally replicated cases separately, because in the first case the re...
